Great dental office! Top notch! Dr. Despain is young, well educated, great chair side manner, and truly cares about his patients and staff. Look no further for a great dental office! The staff are phenomenal! Oh, and they utilize top of the line diagnostic equipment and crown creation equipment. They can have a new crown on and/or a dental implant in within hours! What a great place to trust your dental works! You won’t be disappointed.
Even better than all the staff are really friendly is the dentist’s assistant (JENNIFER) she deserves recognition for keeping the suction in the right place for me so i didn’t feel like i was choking on my saliva and Dr Despain saved my tooth that he wasn’t sure he could save. What did I learn at Skyview Dental? Not all dentists and hygienists are created equal! Dr. Despain and his team are superb! From xrays to deep cleaning to same-day crown, everyone was an expert and professional.

Skyview Dental is the best dental office that I have ever been to. The staff and Dr. Calvin Despain are always very nice and welcoming and they treat you like family. I have never had any issues with the work they have done for me. Kendall at the front desk is so welcoming and sweet, and the Dental assistant Jen is awesome and is always making sure that I am comfortable and happy! I needed a root canal and a crown stat due to immense pain and upcoming travel schedules. ❤️ The caring & wonderful team found and booked me to see a local endodontist (root canal specialist) and scheduled me the next day for a same day crown! Incredible. 🙌🏽 I was treated with kindness, respect, and care and they handled all of my concerns and accommodations without hesitation. 😀 I am smiling again with no pain, my tooth saved, and a new night guard on the way for prevention from grinding my teeth at night! 🐶 And they love dogs!! New patient here, I can honestly tell you that it was an absolute pleasure from the get go. Front desk girls were awesome dealing with from the time I arrived and until I left. I deffinenatly haven’t taken as good of care of my teeth to be honest, and can say that I’m pretty nervous when it comes to going to the dentist. I let it be known before hand, the whole experience from not only the dentist himself but the whole staff was incredible. Let me start by saying I don’t have the best brushing habits so you can imagine how I feel when it’s time for the regular dental cleaning. I’m usually preparing for the typical lecture about how important it is for me to do better and how I’m not only ruining my teeth but also making other health conditions worse and possibly a little lesson on how to properly brush. This was my first dental cleaning at SkyView and I was so pleased with the experience. Ann the hygienist started out by introducing herself, making sure I was comfortable, and then carefully explaining the process to me. She started out by doing the numbers game (you know, where they call out numbers from 1 to 4 and the lower the number the better). Sadly my numbers were off the scale and after her assessment she explained to me what a typical cleaning would entail after this step followed by letting me know that “we’re not there”. I have to say I figured now is where the lectures and lessons come in but Ann did a great job of giving me the unfortunate facts without being condescending or judgemental. She gave me advice on best brushing habits instead of a lecture. She presented my options and was happy to work with my timeline getting a deep clean scheduled and even took the rest of the appointment doing a preliminary cleaning to get me by until I could get in for the deep clean. She was willing to accommodate my schedule and gave me confidence that I could finally get better at brushing and that it wasn’t too late for my teeth. At the second appointment again she carefully explained what she was going to do every step of the way, assured I was comfortable (even asked if I would like a blanket) and talked me through the entire process including asking me along the way how I was doing. She also made sure to let me know that she noticed my brushing habits had improved and to keep it up. Ann was so attentive and so kind during such an intense process that I made sure to reschedule with her for the next cleaning checkup. I expect they’ll be less intense in the future. I haven’t been disappointed in this place since I started going there last year. I don’t tend to stay places I’m not happy with. Not just this experience but every visit from crowns , fillings, and even a root canal has been a much better experience than any other place I’ve been. I particularly like that I can get those crowns done in one trip – no more living with a temp crown until I can get back for the permanent one. I can say with confidence that I plan on keeping SkyView as my dental office for the foreseeable future.

I’m new to the community and needed to find a dentist. Skyview dental sent out a nice flyer which prompted me to make an appointment. As far as dental appointments go my experience at Skyview Dental was a 10! First off I got a welcoming greeting when I arrived. The receptionists were smiling and engaging. Then my wait was only about 5 minutes and I walked into the exam room to see playful squirrels and birds in an arboretum type environment out the Big picture window. They were very entertaining and calming. The dental assistant’s were very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor was very efficient and gentle. I had a crown completed and placed the same day. Before going through my treatment, the costs were explained to me very clearly and concisely. I did not feel pressured to have any extra work done. They explained very clearly what my insurance would pay and what would be my responsibility. I don’t know how the doctor did it, but the numbing agent worked very well I did not have a swollen mouth for hours like normal. It’s been four days since my crown was placed. It works beautifully and I am pain-free. I have more appointments scheduled to get work completed as I can afford it. i’m very happy I found Skyview dental and highly recommend them.
Friendly and knowledgeable office staff especially dealing with insurance. Efficient exams and cleanings without much waiting around. Impressed with their camera technology for showing you specific issues. Also, they make their crowns on-site very quickly using impressive technology for fitting the crown. And shout out to Jen for creating the perfect shade to match aesthetically!
Ended up getting major treatment taken care of today with good treatment and communication. I felt anything but negativity with these people. Easy to communicate and understand. Bottom line is they care!
