Get Your New Veneers in One Appointment

At Skyview Dental, we use advanced technology to give you a beautiful smile in less time. It typically takes at least two visits to complete treatment with most teeth veneers. At our office, we're able to give you the same results in just one visit. The key to this fast treatment is our CAD/CAM CEREC® system. It allows us to craft your veneers in our office while you wait.

The process for getting veneers is simple:

  • Your dentist will meet with you to take digital X-rays, determine your smile goals, and create a treatment plan.
  • Once we're ready to begin treatment, we'll scan your flawed teeth with a digital scanner to create mess-free impressions.
  • This information will go to our computer system, which will design your new veneers.
  • After the design is complete, our milling system will take over, making your ceramic veneers to exact specifications.
  • Dr. Despain will bond the veneers to your teeth, then polish them to ensure they blend in naturally with your smile.
  • You'll leave our office with your new smile, ready to take on the world!

Repair a Wide Range of Dental Flaws With Veneers

A dental veneer is a thin, porcelain shell that is bonded to the tooth's surface to improve its appearance. It will mimic the translucent qualities of natural tooth enamel. Your dentist commonly recommends veneers to:

  • Conceal gaps and spacing between teeth
  • Correct size or shape differences
  • Hide slightly misaligned teeth
  • Cover badly stained or discolored teeth
  • Restore chipped or broken teeth

Your porcelain veneers will be easy to maintain. However, you'll want to care for them as you care for your natural teeth. Avoid biting into hard foods or opening packages with your teeth. Brush and floss every day and visit us twice a year for cleanings and exams. Veneers are a lifelong commitment, so you'll always need to protect your teeth.

My appointment went very well. Had a crown replaced and it was done in house, saving time and cost. This was probably the best fitting crown I have ever had. Thank you so much.

I got dentures late March of 2024. The lower partial denture broke 01/14/2026, shy of 2 years. I'm unhappy with this and there is no mention of a warranty. Surely they should last longer or I should receive a partial refund. So, very shortly after posting this review, Dr Despain's office called... I got dentures late March of 2024. The lower partial denture broke 01/14/2026, shy of 2 years. I'm unhappy with this and there is no mention of a warranty. Surely they should last longer or I should receive a partial refund. So, very shortly after posting this review, Dr Despain's office called and we discussed my broken partial. He has offered to replace it at no charge and an appointment was made. I will post here when I have my new partial. I am very happy at this point, and thank Dr Despain and Melinda. March 2nd and all is well. Thank you, Dr Despain and crew! The new lower partial denture is excellent!

Not a huge fan of going to the dentist, so I appreciate when the staff makes sure it is a quick and easy visit. The hygienist was efficient in her work as well as stern with her feedback on my dental habits, which is oddly refreshing.

Commonly Asked Questions About Dental Veneers

Do dental veneers hurt?

Our dedicated team will make sure that your veneers treatment is completely comfortable. We may need to remove a small amount of tooth enamel to place your veneers, but this process will not cause you any pain. We can use a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort, plus sedation is available if you're nervous about your veneers treatment.

Do dental veneers look fake?

Dental veneers from an experienced cosmetic dentist will be made to blend in perfectly with your natural smile. Because they are custom-made just for you, these dental restorations fit perfectly, too. They're made of thin material that replicates the translucence of real tooth enamel. Yet they're tough enough to protect the teeth behind them, so any concealed damage doesn't worsen as the years go by.

How long does it take to make veneers?

While most dental offices require at least two visits to design and fit your veneers, using the CAD/CAM technology of our CEREC system, we can craft your new veneers in one appointment. That means you avoid a second appointment and can walk out ready to face the world with a great smile after just one visit.
