A native of Middleton, Idaho, Dr. Calvin Despain graduated as valedictorian of Middleton High School. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Despain's dedication and clinical skills were recognized with highest distinction honors, placing him in the top five percent of his graduating class. He also received the Dr. Tillman E. Miller Clinical Achievement Award and was inducted into the esteemed Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for his professional integrity and commitment to clinical excellence.

Since dental school, Dr. Despain has enhanced his expertise through advanced training in CEREC same-day crowns, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry procedures. His professional growth allows him to provide his patients with the latest technologies and treatment methods.

In his personal time, Dr. Despain enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and cherishes quality time with his wife and children. He is passionate about delivering exceptional dental care to members of the community he calls home.

Got me in same day, was able to get the work done which was a root canal and same day crown, and out within 4 hours (only took longer due to fitting me in). Dr and assistants were attentive to how I was doing and patient. They offered suggestions for payment options in case they were needed.... They were speedy and efficient. My appointment was at 3pm. They took me back at 3:05pm and I was in my car, on my way home by 3:20pm. Granted it was only one cavity to be filled, but I was expecting a 20-30 minute filling.
